PRIX PHOTOGRAPHIE & SCIENCES

Rencontre - projection with Richard Pak and Manon Lanjouère at l'ADAGP (Paris).

An evening of encounters and screenings with photographers Richard Pak and Manon Lanjouère, winners #2021 and #2022 of the Prix Photographie & Sciences.
Richard Pak (winner #2021) and Manon Lanjouère (winner #2022) present their respective series L’île naufragée (Les îles du désir – Chapitre III) and Les particules, le conte humain d’une eau qui meurt.

Richard Pak [series - Shipwrecked Island (Islands of Desire - Chapter III)] focuses on the decay of Nauru, an oceanic paradise turned ecological disaster with endless columns of coral - the remnants of a century of phosphate mining.

Manon Lanjouère [series - Particles, a human tale of dying water] takes a poetic look at the pollution that is intrinsically altering our oceans.

The evening is moderated by Andreina de Bei, deputy editor-in-chief and photo director of Sciences et Avenir – La Recherche magazine, in the presence of Philippe Guionie, Managing Director.

The event takes place on Tuesday September 12, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the ADAGP auditorium, 11 rue Duguay-Trouin – 75006 Paris.
